THE FOUNDRY HAS ALWAYS BEEN THE HEART OF SAFAS GROUP’S STEEL CASTINGS DIVISION
The Steel Casting Division with its differently specialized production units has allowed us to achieve a truly unique completeness of steel and cast iron casting offers. We are now present in all’industrial sectors, from strategic energy to transport, from oil & gas to offshore, from earth moving to ecology to food.
The group of foundries, which consist of several units having mechanical workshops, offers its customers rough or finished castings for mechanical processing for any type of application, in the whole range of available steels and cast iron, in an interval of weights from a few kilos to about 40 tons.
The Steel Casting Division constantly practices a decisive strategy of development towards new markets without renouncing to strengthen its position in the sectors where it has always been present. Know-how, skills, abilities and technologies represent those “excess” assets that the division reinvests every day in its expansion into new sectors. The possibility of producing even at competitive costs with the presence of production units located in low-cost countries is another of our strengths.
